After nearly 11 years in the advertising & marketing industry, founder Veronica wasn’t quite satisfied by her career & realized it was time to pursue her long time passion. Deciding to turn her love of baking into a full time job was the easy part; figuring out how to make her fledgling business stand out amongst so many other cupcakeries was the challenge. But one day, while enjoying a Strawberry Daiquiri on the beach, Vero’s Sweet & Tipsy alcoholic cupcakes was born & became the first cupcakery in Miami to solely feature liquor-infused cupcakes.
Drawing on her advertising & marketing expertise, in less than a year Vero has easily established Sweet & Tipsy as the premier go-to company for Miami-based organizations looking for an extra kick to their events.
With fun names & flavors such as Ay Mi Amorcito Mojito, Frida Margarita, Lazy Niña Colada & of course Sinful Strawberry Daiquiri, her “Cupcakes with Kick” have appeared at The Grind: Miami’s Burger Battle 2012, the Junior League of Miami’s “Women Who Make a Difference” Luncheon, as the exclusive featured cuptails for a Ketel One after party &, most recently, at celebrity chef’s Douglas Rodriguez & Friends annual event.
